| CARSON, Calif. - Gyasi Zardes scored to give the Los Angeles Galaxy a 1-0 victory over Real Salt Lake on Saturday night. Marcelo Sarvas sent in a cross that Landon Donovan let it go past him for an oncoming Zardes. He controlled the ball with his left foot, then sent in a right-footed shot that hit off the left post and angled back behind the right goal line in the 20th minute. It was Zardes fourth goal in his last seven Major League Soccer matches. Later, Sarvas earned a penalty kick in the final minute of stoppage time after being taken down by RSL goalkeeper Nick Rimando inside the penalty area. His penalty kick to the lower left corner was saved by Rimando. The Galaxy (6-3-6) extended their undefeated streak to seven games. Salt Lake fell to 7-4-7. Montreals Eugenie Bouchard - the only woman to reach the semifinals in this years first two Grand Slam events - will be in tough at Wimbledon next week after being drawn into the same quarter as five-time champion Serena Williams and 2004 champion Maria Sharapova. Bouchard starts the tournament against Slovakias Daniela Hantuchova. The 13th seed could face Williams in the round of 16, while Sharapova - who defeated Bouchard in the French Open semifinals - would be a possibble quarter-final opponent.dddddddddddd Torontos Sharon Fichman is also in the same quarter of the womens draw, with her opener against Timea Bacsinszky of Switzerland.
